Job Description:
The SAP FTM Lead must have experience implementing CORE FICO functionality and support activities in SAP S4. The FTM Lead Member requires and in-depth knowledge of general accounting business processes.
- Must be knowledgeable of the following configuration and business scenarios
- Core Finance and Controlling experience is required.
- Must have knowledge of SAP finance master data, and financial data for Business Partners, Material Master, MM-FI and SD-FI integration, Project Systems, Internal Orders, General Ledger, financial close and reporting
- Preference given to resources with knowledge of Direct and Indirect Tax, E-invoicing, DRC, FI integration Ariba for procurement, Concur integration and E-commerce and retail.
- Preference given to resources with experience implementing SAP for S. Korea and Tawain
- Must have experience in S4 preferably S4 2020+
- Must understand basic accounting concepts, previous work experience as an accountant, or in finance, or corresponding work experience in SAP FICO for the above mentioned modules, and standard SAP S4 functionality for FICO
- Able to configure and troubleshoot issues, perform proof of concepts, and guide client through decisions in these areas
- Previous experience creating professional, client facing documentation (configuration, functional unit test evidence, key design decision documents, POC presentations, change requests/ justification documents
- Must understand SOD in security role design for finance space. Must understand how to write FUT and SIT scripts to positively and negatively test functional security roles for finance business users.
- Grasps end to end business processes and how to write and test integration scripts, for processed with upstream and/or downstream steps outside of SAP S4
- Proficient in taking business requirements and writing complex functional specification logic to meet these requirements where standard SAP does not. Must be able to positively and negatively test the development object for core functionality as well as error handling.
- Additional Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Provide functional direction/management to the project team’s offshore and junior resources.
- Manage work stream’s team deliverables to the project schedule
- Liaise with Onshore FTM Lead and stream leads to provide status reports, raise issues and blockers and coordinate work hand-off between on and offshore.
- Possesses the ability to organize activities, set priorities, handle multiple tasks, make or guide client to a decision/ resolution
- Must be comfortable in client facing role and facilitating meetings with client’s functional BPOs to define business processes and requirements that will be enabled by SAP and may be required for functional specification documents.
- Ability to work effectively with client personnel at various levels of the organization, is critical. Supports and helps develop power users in the business
- The ability to work in a fast-paced team, with dynamic atmosphere. Comfortable with changing priorities to align with changing direct from PMO, client etc. Ability to assess current tasks and effectively prioritize, delegate work according to critical path of the project.
- Supports needed audit and compliance efforts
- Supports SAP testing of S4 hana, Ariba, and Concur, for implementation of new SAP FICO functionality
- Familiarize with SOW and Scope, identify critical issues, scope changes, and opportunities and escalates to program management as appropriate.
- Works with cross-functional groups in the program to identify and develop solutions to business issues and opportunities in their area of expertise.
- Defines functional / technical requirements for change requests and interfaces with the development team for completion
- Supports the development of training materials and documentation, as well as provides Train the trainer- sessions as required
- Participates in the process integration and user acceptance testing (to include positive and negative security role testing). Must be able to write Integration test scripts
- Effectively manages and resolves defects.
